Round Table on the Topic: Innovative Learning Environments

On September 17, 2025, the Adult Education Centre hosted a round table on the topic “Innovative Learning Environments” with the aim of initiating dialogue and joint action among local stakeholders in the education sector to improve existing and develop new learning environments aligned with the needs of adults.

An introductory impulse on this topic was given by Daiana Huber, an EU expert from Romania, who presented various approaches, experiences, and current trends from EU countries, thereby motivating participants to actively engage by sharing their own experiences, challenges, and ideas about the necessity of building an adult education system tailored to the needs of adult learners within educational measures.

One of the main conclusions that emerged was the need for action at the local level through increased funding for adult education, expanding educational opportunities and offerings for everyone, as well as through dissemination, promotion, and raising awareness about learning opportunities and their importance for both individuals and society as a whole.

This activity was carried out as part of the package of measures under the project “Implementation of the European Agenda for Adult Learning in North Macedonia,” supported by EACEA and financed by the European Commission.
