The Public Institution Adult Education Centre has initiated a series of trainings of trainers of adults
One of the measures outlined in the project “Implementation of the European Agenda on Adult Learning in North Macedonia”, carried out by the Adult Education Centre as the national coordinator for implementing the European Adult Learning Agends, is the organization and delivery of a series of trainings of trainers who perform educational work to adult learners.
This measure aims to strengthen the capacities of teaching staff for both theoretical and practical instruction at accredited institutions and organizations that provide specialized adult education programs. Through this training, participants will gain competencies in planning and delivering lessons in accordance with andragogical principles.
The measure involves conduction of five such training sessions across the country—out of which two in Skopje and three regional sessions in Štip, Tetovo, and Bitola—covering a total of 75 trainers who deliver educational activities according to accredited programs.
On November 22 – 23, 2024, the first of the five planned training sessions was held in Skopje, with active participation from 15 representatives of accredited providers. Participants followed the training with great interest and evaluated it as highly relevant and useful for their future work.
